This article explains how to submit American Heart Association (AHA) credentials, including e-cards, RQI numbers, and images of your AHA credentials, to your EverCheck Wallet account by entering card numbers for automated verification or uploading images for employer review, with instructions for both digital and image upload submissions.
E-cards & RQI cards
When the American Heart Association has issued you an e-card or RQI card, you’ll enter your card number in EverCheck Wallet. To do that, you will:
- Log in to EverCheck Wallet and click on the inbox message on the Wallet homepage to Submit Your License Details, which will take you to the list of requirements that your employer has requested.
- From this requirement list, you will find and select the American Heart Association (AHA) credential you are trying to submit.
When prompted, select Enter e-card number.
- Enter your 12-digit e-card number OR your 21-digit RQI number.
5. Select Submit to have your information verified and transmitted to your employer.
Important note regarding RQI and ecards: EverCheck Wallet may sometimes detect an update to RQI-issued certificates without your intervention. When this is the case, you won’t see an option to update your certificate; EverCheck Wallet will update it automatically. E-card or RQI submissions could remain in verifying status for up to 30 minutes while EverCheck Wallet verifies your information with the American Heart Association.
Physical certificates (for instance, paper heart cards)
When you have a physical document as proof of your certification, you’re able to submit this documentation in EverCheck Wallet by uploading an image of the document from your desktop device. To upload this image, please follow the instructions below:
- Log in to Wallet and click on the inbox message on the Wallet homepage to Submit Your License Details, which will take you to the list of requirements that your employer has requested.
- From this requirement list, you will find and select the American Heart Association (AHA) credential you are trying to submit.
When prompted, select Upload a Photo. Be sure that it includes both the front and back of your certificate. If there is only one side of your certificate, upload the front side for both sections. Accepted file types include .jpg, .jpeg, .pdf, .png, and.tiff.
- Enter the recommended renewal date or expiration date listed on your certificate.
- Select Submit to have your information transmitted to your employer for review.
Important note regarding verification: When you submit your updated credential via image upload through EverCheck Wallet, employers must review and approve this submission. For this reason, your certificate may show as “Verifying” for some time. Once your employer accepts or rejects your certificate, the status will change.
