Board Interruptions – Evercheck Wallet

EverCheck automates verification of licenses, certifications, and registrations (LCRs) relying on licensing boards' technology. Board interruptions can occur due to high traffic, maintenance, security updates, such as CAPTCHA, or URL changes. During interruptions, EverCheck performs manual verifications and notifies employers. Verifications occur when the license is first added to EverCheck and when the license is approaching expiration. Prehire verifications during interruptions are completed within 48 hours. Notifications remind users of renewals but may persist until board updates are captured.

Understanding Board Interruptions

EverCheck delivers ongoing verification of licenses, certifications, and registrations (LCRs). Our automation depends on the technology and infrastructure provided by licensing boards, which are the primary source of truth. Occasional updates or changes to a board’s website may temporarily impact EverCheck’s ability to perform automated verifications.

Common Reasons for Interruptions

High Traffic: Excessive use of a board's website.
Maintenance: Scheduled technical service or site updates.
Security Updates: New security methods, such as CAPTCHA or IP address blocks, have been added to verification portals.
Link Changes: Broken URLs or changes to website addresses.

Identifying Board Interruptions

You can identify credentials in your Licenses tab that are affected by a board interruption by the dotted-underlined profession name and the exclamation point next to it.

Our Interruption Protocol

To ensure continuity, EverCheck’s team performs manual verification of your LCRs that are experiencing a board interruption until the automated processes are restored.

We also notify your employer of any board interruptions that may impact your licensure.

Verification Cadence

Verifications are performed when an LCR is initially added to EverCheck Wallet and at the following intervals until a renewal is captured:

Within thirty (30) days of the LCR expiration date.
The day of the LCR expiration date.
The day after the LCR expiration date.

Prehire Note: For candidates at an organization, interrupted LCRs are verified manually within 48 hours of submission.
