EverCheck verifies submissions against the NBCRNA Certification Directory, requiring an exact match of license number, first name, and last name. Verification fails if any field differs. To fix issues, users should check their certification details on the NBCRNA directory, compare them with their EverCheck account, and correct discrepancies. For name mismatches, users should contact their HR team to align records with the board’s data for successful verification.
Why This Happens
EverCheck's verification system checks your submission against the NBCRNA's Certification Directory, which is the board's primary source for certification data.
This board requires an exact match on all of the following before a submission can verify:
- License number
- First name
- Last name
If any one of these three fields doesn't match what the NBCRNA has on file, verification will fail.
How to Fix It
- Go to the NBCRNA's Certification Directory and look up your certification.
- Compare the license number (or certification ID) and the first and last name listed there against what's showing on your EverCheck Wallet account.
- If the license number you submitted is incorrect, use the Try Again option on the license tile in your account to re-submit.
Name Discrepancy
Sometimes the name on file with your employer doesn't match the name the board has listed for you (for example, after a legal name change).
If you believe this is the case:
- Reach out to your organization's internal HR team.
- Ask that they review the name discrepancy between what they have listed in our system and what the NBCRNA's primary source verification website has listed for you.
- Your internal HR team can submit any necessary request to EverCheck to complete verification using the name the board has listed for you.
Once the information the board has listed matches what's showing in your account, our system will be able to verify your submission.
