To see if you have any licenses, certifications, and registrations (LCRs) that are expired or are approaching expiration or to make updates to your LCRs, follow these steps:
1. Log in to your account and select the “Licenses” app on the dashboard.
2. Review the LCRs on your profile. Any LCRS that have expired or are within 60 days of expiration will be flagged as such.
Some of your licenses, certifications, and registrations (LCRs) in EverCheck Wallet will update automatically when you renew your license with the board. Others require you to provide us with information about the renewal, like when you are issued a new expiration date for your BLS or ACLS.
Here's the difference:
Manual Renewal Updates
Some licensing authorities either need an electronic database we can interface with or they issue physical cards (like course completion cards or even e-cards). In this case, we aren't able to automatically find the new expiration date when you renew, so it's up to you to provide the details of your renewal in EverCheck Wallet.
If your employer needs you to provide an update to your license via EverCheck Wallet, you'll see an Inbox task. Simply follow the prompts to provide us with the details of your license renewal, like your new expiration date.
To update a manual renewal LCR, please follow the steps below:
Step 1. Click the three-dot menu on the license card and select "update." Then, provide the details of the LCR’s new expiration date. Please submit all information your application requests for successfully processing the renewal update.
If you manually update the LCR, they will be reviewed by your employer and stay in the “verifying” status in Wallet until that is completed. How long these types of LCRs stay in the "verifying" status depends entirely on how long it takes your employer to review the information you provided. Once your employer approves or denies your license, you will receive a push notification telling you their decision and if you need to take further action.
Automatic Renewal Updates
If a license updates automatically when you renew with the board, EverCheck verifies your license with the primary source daily. Once the primary source shows a new expiration date, we provide that information to your employer and update your license in the EverCheck Wallet. This happens automatically; all you have to do is renew on time with the licensing authority. Important note: You cannot renew your license via EverCheck Wallet. You must renew with the licensing board. EverCheck Wallet is meant to help you track renewals and submit updates to your employer. You will be able to renew your license through the application if it is manually managed.
To update an automatic renewal LCR, please follow the steps below:
Step 1. Renew your LCR with the licensing authority.
Always refer to the board for the requirements to renew your license, certification, or registration.
Step 2. Log into your EverCheck Wallet account.
Visit evercheckwallet.com to sign in, or open the app from your iPhone or Android device and sign in.
Step 3. Navigate to the Licenses tab or section of your account.
(no sooner than 24 hours after you've renewed your LCR with the board to give it time to update).
Step 4. Check to see whether the LCR reflects your recent renewal.
Please allow at least 24 hours after you’ve renewed your LCR with the licensing authority.
If the LCR showing in EverCheck Wallet reflects your renewal, you’re all set, and there’s nothing more to do on your end. If your employer tracks this LCR, they’ll automatically see the update; there’s no need to send it to them manually.
If your LCR has not reflected the update and still shows as expired/expiring, please continue to the “Manual Renewal Updates” section to update your LCR manually.
